Without a doubt, Aleksandr trumps whatever Lukas has shown us during 2018. Now if we were to compare the same statistic to gla1ve, we get a rating of 1.11, KPR 0.69, Impact 0.98, opening kills 0.10. He’s got a rating of 1.35, KPR of 0.88, impact 1.35, opening kills 0.15. If we were to take a look at their CSGO stats, provided by HLTV, s1mple is far ahead from g1ave. Remember the example about ranks from CSGO? Let’s take a closer look at the pro scene by comparing two individual players: gla1ve and s1mple. If anything, this gave a lot of fans the ability to spin the constant narrative of “Team X should replace player X with Y, because player Y from team Z has a higher rating” without knowing any better. ![]() By just looking at the CSGO stats like rating, we can’t really tell if those kills were impactful, from what positions those kills were made, were they against full buys or eco’s. It doesn’t give us a full story of how the match went on. ![]() In general, we could now assume, that a player, at the end of a match, with a higher rating, say, 1.2 is better than 1.1. Since the introduction, it has been a way to combine stats like KD, impact rating and survival rating. And that’s really the case with most if not all primary awpers in CSGO.įor those not really interested in taking a look at all the numbers available, back in 2010 HLTV introduced rating (or rating 1.0 as it is known nowadays) “ to improve upon the then commonly used K/D Ratio with the hope that a quick glance at Rating gives a better idea about a player’s performance”. If you take a look at the stats of a player like jdm64, you’ll see that his headshot percentage is in the red (below 30%). Of course, it’s also a stat which doesn’t make much sense if you are an awper. But by having this one playstyle and not adapting, Scream has made himself obsolete by the year 2018. But does it really end up proving a player’s worth in the team? Sure, if an individual like Scream ends up hitting those nice one taps, they are very impressive to witness. This CSGO stat shows the percentage of kills that involved headshots. These are just some of the reasons why KD isn’t always the best metric. ![]() Maybe you have been the one saving weapons for the next round. Maybe you the one trying to find opening frags and a lot of times, become the first man of contact. There’s obviously a case to be made for roles and in what position you end up playing. We can’t be certain if someone with more deaths has made less of an impact in-game, than a player with less deaths. But if you haven’t seen the match and just take a look at the post-match CSGO stats you’ll see that, for example, player X has 22 kills, player Y sits with 19, thus the former player can be regarded as better. Because CSGO has an economy, there will be moments when you end up killing fully equipped opponents and sometimes they won’t even have any kevlar to boot. ![]() Just because the number is bigger, it doesn’t mean that a player had more impact in a match. However, as all things aren’t created equal, so all kills aren’t of equal relevance. If Player X has 22 kills and 12 deaths, he’s obviously better than Player Y with his 10 kills and 16 deaths. The basic premise and for a long time, a de facto representation for an individual’s skill. There’s Kill to Death ratio or KD for short, which represent the amount of killed opponents as well as deaths. A good place to start would be dissecting the meanings of some CSGO stats. .223 subsonic handloads10/6/2023 Five of these Sierra bullets, however, will land in. Bullets with velocities close to 1,000 fps, though, made a fairly tight group, under an inch, at 50 yards. One bullet with a low velocity of 951 fps hit about 2 inches below others of normal velocity, and one bullet with a high velocity of 1,118 fps hit about the same amount high. The report was not much louder than high-velocity. The lack of noise was the first thing I noticed shooting Trail Boss in the. I pretty much used the minimum charge weights for my five rifle cartridges to keep bullet velocities below 1,100 fps. The Hodgdon Powder website () lists Trail Boss loads for rifle cartridges. That works as a safety factor, too, because it would be next to impossible to load a double charge of Trail Boss. 243’s powder capacity and about 75 percent of the. 243 Winchester takes up about 60 percent of the. For instance, a minimum charge of Trail Boss for the. The powder also works well to produce slow velocities in rifle cartridges because its circular kernels with a hole in the middle are fluffy, and a charge occupies a good portion of a powder capacity in a rifle case. The powder was designed primarily for handgun cartridges shooting lead bullets at low velocity. IMR’s Trail Boss is the only powder I’ve found that works to achieve subsonic velocities in a variety of rifle cartridges. Loading heavy bullets with these powders, and a few others, lowers velocities even more, but then there’s the matter of suitable rifling twist to stabilize such heavy, long bullets at subsonic speed. Light amounts of relatively fast burning powders intended primarily for handgun cartridges, like 2400, Unique and Red Dot, come close but do not quite generate that velocity level. Powders suitable to attain such a slow velocity are very limited in cartridges such as the. For the sake of argument, let’s say 1,100 fps is the speed of sound, and any bullet flying slower than that is considered subsonic. So I started a search for subsonic loads for a few of my centerfire rifles to see if there was any substance to bullets at subsonic speeds. The advantages of such loads, the posters type, are low noise and an absence of recoil, and I’m all for that. There has been a lot of chatter on Internet sites lately about centerfire loads that fire bullets at subsonic velocities. These loads and others were shot with Trail Boss powder in an attempt toĭevelop subsonic velocities (left to right). It does make me slightly nervous as far as squibs, but given our known velocity at 3.1 is high, I think I’ll be ok.Author: John Haviland / Wolfe Publishing Co. No way I’m getting 60 fps more out of a barrel 10 inches shorter. This is why I can’t imagine the data from Hodgdon is out of a 24” barrel. We got supersonic loads from subsonic data, and I’m shooting a 14.5” barrel. Gun didn’t even begin to cycle as expected. I was shocked at how relatively good the SD was given the case fill. The speed of sound given my environmental factors is 1,106. Now, the interesting part: these clearly were not subsonic. Accuracy was surprisingly good at about an inch. I shot three at 25 yards without a suppressor to make sure they were flying straight and I wouldn’t get a baffle strike. The specific subsonic loads document does not list barrel length. They say it’s out of a 24” barrel, but I’m thinking that’s a generic number for the rifle data and is not accurate for this load. This is published load data on Hodgdon’s website. Spice and wolf synopsis10/6/2023 She takes him to the storeroom to have a chat, she talks to him about her plans on taking a new business offer and asks him to help her. He looks out and finds Chloe with a Horo mask. In his room, he hears a voice from the window and thinks it’s Horo. He heads back to the village and decides to spend the night. Lawrence ends up lying, shaking on the ground and Horo is gone. Horo eats some wheat, in which she needs to transform and a grey matter wipes over the screen from the left side of Horo’s body. Though she is reluctant at first, she agrees because she senses Lawrence is an honest person. She tells him that she is Horo, the “prideful wolf”, the same wolf that protects the village’s harvest. Lawrence asks Horo to prove that she is the Kenrou (wolf spirit), to show him her true form. Lawrence is pretty frighten and threatens her with his knife, only to be confused even more by her actions. The naked girl continues to act very casually and ask for alcohol and food. ![]() Then there’s some awesome howling at the moon. He tries to wake her and finds, to his surprise, that she has neko ears and bright crimson eyes. He lifts the cover to find a naked girl sleeping in his fur stock. While he walks towards his wagon, he hears movements in it. The scene once again changes, it is well into the night and Lawrence, who has left the village, and plans to sleep. The village leader has high hopes which Lawrence plays along with. The next scene sort of just establishes the time period and its politics, in which the village is becoming more and more prosperous and the nearby Count is being an ass. But during the commotion, Lawrence notices a bump to his wagon. And because she is also the last person to cut the wheat, she is the designated Horo and must be caught and locked up in the storehouse for seven days. While Lawrence is watching the last bits of wheat being harvested, he is spotted by an old “friend”, Chloe. The villagers have already started harvesting all the wheat, who have become less and less reliant on Horo, and more so on the nearby lord. Lawrence is actually familiar with the village and he arrives the day before the harvest festival, the festival celebrating the promise of the Wolf God, who is revealed now to be called “Horo”. He learns that a Pagan village nearby is causing a disturbance and holding a festival in secrecy, the village of Pasroe. The actually story starts with a travelling grey-haired merchant named Lawrence who is talking to a guard, requesting entry past the township after coming back from a trade in the south. So every year, the villagers try and catch the wolf that is sleeping in the last bundle of wheat, and next year’s harvest will be good. And when the harvest is bad, they say that the wolf ate all the wheat. The story begins with like one of those ambiguous “once upon a time scenes”. It explains the legend of the God Fox, who made a promise with a village that it would ripen and protect the wheat the villagers grew. ![]() Then I don’t know what you think “that” other thing is… It’s not what you think it is… Unless you’re thinking it’s jerky… If you’re not going to read my Synopsis, you should read my thoughts, cause I’m a little confused and need some opinions, I can’t seem to dislike much of the anime…įor more details, pictures, a summary, and thoughts… But maybe just for this I’ll review like a first-timer, maybe then I’ll be less bias. Normally, I’ve read the manga for the animes I watch, or at least end up doing it because I can’t wait the week. Their personalities come out quite strong. The OP and ED are really awesome too, I particularly like the ED, fobby Engrish just floats my boat. ![]() The main characters just meet each other, each with their own distinct history and agendas. How should I put it? It’s a pretty good start. It’s one of those animes where the start is pretty ambiguous, and not much happens. I just watched the first episode of Spice and Wolf, and wow. Reflective listening techniques10/6/2023 ![]() 46) write, "When employing reflective listening, the question is not 'What can I do for this ,' but rather, 'How does this person see him or herself?'" It's a particularly useful skill for avoiding conflict within a group. Lastly, (and most importantly), reflective listening actually allows for solutions because both people know exactly how they are coming across and how the other person feels.Reflective listening is a communication skill by which students can increase their understanding of other people’s ideas, issues, approaches and concerns within the group. This type of listening also prevents the conversation from jumping to another topic. Reflective listening is a great way to bypass those fights and conversations where neither you nor your partner feels heard. Still feeling unsure if you are being a successful reflective listener? Check out this article that provides a list of questions to ask yourself to improve your listening skills. You’ll know you’re engaged in reflective listening when you start a sentence with one of these phrases… Looking for other examples? Check out this article for some non-romantic reflective listening examples. I was worried and it felt really inconsiderate that you wouldn’t at least think to let me know.ī: What I am hearing is that you felt unconsidered, worried, and upset when I came home last night without letting you know. After the speaker has clarified, the listener repeats what they meant to say so the speaker knows that the listener now understands.īoth sides need to be heard! What is an example of reflective listening?Ī: I’m feeling really upset that you came home so late last night without calling or texting. If the speaker feels like something that the listener repeated was wrong or that they said something they didn’t mean, they have the opportunity to clarify. They repeat back what they heard the speaker say they were feeling and thinking. The listener echoes what the speaker said. The listener thinks about what the speaker shared. The listener says nothing while the other person talks. Each person walks away feeling heard How to Reflectively Listen No one gets defensive because the goal is to hear, reflect, and understand what the other person is saying Body language is mirrored so the speaker knows how they are coming across Each party pays attention to the specifics that the other is sharing so that they can repeat it back The conversation has a balance of talking and listening ![]() Additionally, because reflective listening requires both people to be speakers and listeners, both parties are able to get on the same page and know exactly what the other person is thinking, feeling, and means. How? Well, when the reflective listener repeats what they heard back, the person who was speaking has the opportunity to clarify what they meant. Reflective listening is important because it makes sure BOTH sides not only get to talk and be heard, but it ensures that both people are understood by the other. Pretty simple, right? It can be when done correctly! Why is Reflective Listening Important? Use hostile body language when listening or reflecting back what the other person said ![]() Give an opinion on what the other person is saying or feeling Get defensive or respond while the other person is talking – Use mean or dismissive language when they repeat what the other person shared It’s different than active listening because the listener isn’t looking to engage in a conversation their goal is to pay attention to EXACTLY what the other person is sharing, When the speaker is done talking, the listener then repeats back what the speaker shared. The person listening has one job: pay attention to what the speaker is saying. Reflective listening focuses on one speaker at a time. So how can we slow down and ACTUALLY listen to others? Especially, our romantic partners? Often, these types of fights or communication problems boil down to one simple thing: listening. You leave the conversation unresolved and you walk away thinking: what were we even fighting about to begin with? You’re upset and they’re upset and before you know it the conversation involves two people talking AT each other, bringing up past issues that have nothing to do with the problem at hand. We’ve all been in a fight where neither person was listening to the other.
